Thomas Christian Church team entered the win column in the Ft. Thomas Church League last night the hard way. The Christians defeated St. Catherine team, 27 to 23, in an overtime period. was Carroll, forward, who carried the Christians over the top.
Although he didn't score a single in the regular time, he busted out with two fielders in the extra period. The battle for second place went to the Ft. Thomas Babtist team. Manned by former proteges of Al Anderson, Silver Grove coach, the Baptists took the St. Andrews, 31 to 15.
The Ft. Thomas Methodist team kept its slate clean with a win over the St. Therese club, 48 topto 20. The winners scored 24 fielders. Height was the factor in the St.
